Review of Funny Games (1997) by Vadim S — 15 Apr 2008
A chillin', disturbing movie. Unlike some other movies in its genre ('P2 for example), this seems real, and possible. Before I watch the new American version, I wanted to see the orginal first - why do I get the feeling Haneke's version is so much better.
There's nothing uplifting here, but its brutal, violent, and powerful.
