Review of Funny Games (1997) by Mateusz Z — 08 May 2009

This is a movie I am really not sure about. On one hand, straight after watching, it seemed to me a a self-indulgent and overly preachy generic example of counter cinema. On the other... after digesting it really made me think.

And, more worryingly, it is probably right in it's conclusions as well. A very disturbing and very heavy piece of filmmaking.
