Review of Funny Games (1997) by Frank H — 07 Nov 2009
After the initial viewing, I wasn't totally blown away by it. A week later though, I'm still thinking about it and I've grown to like it even more. The film is great for it's unconventional style and the way it plays with the audience's expectations.
It's disturbing and painful for me to admit that I enjoyed it because of how sadistic it is. It was really fresh and different for a horror movie, I really liked it.
