It's obviously a mockery of the American horror cinema of the Friday the thirteenth generation, but there is no point doing that since these films are a mockery of themselves. It's like making a parody of something that is already funny.
Haneke as a director is great, but I am still wondering why did he make something that mediocre compared to the rest of his work.
