Review of Funny Farm (1988) by Gary G — 30 Aug 2009
(3 stars out of 5) This movie always amused me as a kid--it's sort of a National Lampoon's Vacation movie if the Griswalds moved to Vermont and didn't have any kids. It's still pretty amusing, thanks to a strong cast of supporting fruit loops.
You can't help but hope for the worst for Chevy Chase's Andy because he's not all that likeable to begin with. For a better fish-out-of-water tale check out Baby Boom with Diane Keaton.
