Review of Fun and Fancy Free (1947) by Shaun B — 25 Jul 2012
Fun And Fancy Free is a Disney movie that has two short stories in it, the first one is called Bongo and it's just a basic Disney story. I really didn't like the Bongo story very much and after that story was done I actually didn't even want to watch the rest of the movie, but luckily the second story made the movie a little better.
The second story was Jack And The Beanstalk and it stars Disney's lovable characters Mickey Mouse, Goofy and Donald The Duck. I think that's what really carried the second story was the characters because Mickey, Goofy and Donald were great in this movie, they make you laugh and they make you have a good time watching the film.
The storyline was a bit rushed and sometimes unclear at times but the animation is nice to look at and like I said it's really funny. So all in all this movie Fun And Fancy Free is an okay movie nothing special but a Disney movie that will make you laugh and have a good time.
I think what made this movie not work was the first story, I just couldn't get into that story because it was way too boring and the main character was really uninteresting, but like I said the second story saves the movie.
