Review of Frozen (2013) by Michael K — 21 May 2016

Though rather loosely based on Hans Christian Anderson's fairy tale, it is pretty much a story of love, redemption, and even responsibility if you think about it. Kristoff is obviously among the Sami and those people were neglected among many of the Scandinavians or discriminated against so it's pretty obvious on why he believes reindeer are better than people, even being neglected by his own fellow Sami until he meets Anna.

Anna of course would be desperate to find another life outside which would drive her to accept Hans' proposal. And of course while Elsa is waiting to come of age, the royal council would obviously look after the throne until she came of age.

If one is more knowledgeable about the culture of those days, and in Scandinavia as well, the movie will definitely be better and more enjoyable to them.
