Review of Frontier(s) (2007) by David B — 13 Mar 2009
In modern times, it's very difficult to find horror movies that feel fresh and effective. Frontiers is one of them. The editing is frantic, but not too much as to take away from anything you're seeing.
The storyline is fairly simplistic and not entirely original, but there's a nice spin on a familiar tale that gives it a little depth. The death set pieces are all memorable and mean something in the overall picture.
Definitely one of the best horrors in many years.
