Though the film is incredibly all over the place, seeming to try a political message with social nationalism and facism, in between the buckets and buckets of gore, there is a true horror film here. The first hour I could take or leave.
The ending though is where this movie shines as the final confrontation between the heroine and the nazi's is truly fun to watch. Like most french films is tries for some many things and gets pieces.
