This movie is frustrating in the fact that is has a good deal of unrealized potential. The ideas and message of the film seem pretty amorphous, like the director did not know how to piece them all together.

However, the film does get points for attempting to go beyond being just another Texas Chainsaw derivative, with a little more substantive subtext. Maybe in another director's hands, this could have been great.
