The second entry in the 007 series is quite the improvement over 'Dr. No' and that was a hard one to top. This time around, we get much more world travel scenes, which provides much more variety than the first film, we also get much more sinister characters that seem more ruthless with Robert Shaw's Grant showing off some real menace and his appearance give James Bond some real competition.

We also get to learn more about SPECTRE and their world domination plans and as I've stated before, they just seem so ruthless and willing to bomb a schoolbus full of children just to rule the world and destroy Bond.

With Bond himself being played again by the suave and cold Sean Connery, you can just tell he's gotten into the swing of things after just one film. He defines the role in both this film and 'Goldfinger' and cements himself forever as the best James Bond.

The action scenes are also done much better this time, with thrilling car chases, helicopter chases and even a boat chase or two. Overall, If you're looking for a classic Bond film to start with or to show to your next of kin, I gotta say this one nukes 'Dr.

No' and is a much more impressive film, succeeded only by one other (Goldfinger). Pick up 'From Russia With Love' and see why Bond is so great, you'll have a blast.
