Surprisingly adult subject matter, especially for 1953. I love me some burt lancaster and frank sinatra... I choose to believe that don corleone did get him this part by decapitating a horse... the pearl harbor scene is pretty lame, I have to say.
and there are definitely much better films that haven't won 8 oscars... but overall it was fine.
