Review of From Here to Eternity (1953) by John P — 28 Oct 2008
A pretty good film dealing with enlisted men in the army who both have lady issues, per say. Burt Lancaster and Montgomery Cliff really stood out in this film for me, with some great scenes. The first 30 minutes or so were kinda meh for me but the final 2/3's were well executed.
The scene with the Cliff and Lancaster on the road drunk has gotta be one of the greatest scenes in the history of cinema.
