Review of From Here to Eternity (1953) by Paul H — 18 Sep 2009
Best film of 1953. The story about a soldier who goes through the army while being mistreated is outstanding. The story of Warden's love for his boss's wife also goes with the story perfectly. The personal lives of the other soldiers was great and when they showed Maggio starting to struggle in the army was greatly played out.
This movie had the outstanding cast of Lancaster, Clift, Kerr, Reed, Sinatra, and Borgnine.
