Review of From Hell (2001) by Mary R — 04 Feb 2009
Not bad for a movie based on an Alan Moore comic which was based on the Stephen Knight book which theories that the Jack the Ripper murders were actually the cover-up of a royal scandal. A well scrubbed Heather Graham is laughable as a 19th century London prostitute ('ello Guv'nah).
The chemistry between Johnny Depp and Robbie Coltrane is great, though. It's a fun flick.
