Funny, emotional, but above all...real. Friends with kids succeeds in taking an outrageous idea and making it true and honest. That's the greatest part of this film. The actors seem true and honest to themselves and to the movie at the same time.

With an extremely likable cast and some really fantastic performances, the movie takes it up a notch with some laugh out loud moments and some mildly harsh doses of reality. And it all comes together nicely to create a truly great film.
