Review of Frida (2002) by Edgar C — 16 Oct 2009
An immortal icon of Mexican culture played by one of the worst Mexican actresses ever born through a story situated in a Golden-Age capital city where everybody talks in English but pray and sing in Spanish. A wonderful cast and sudden moments of visionary talent contrasted with Gringolandia's melodrama. Wow... After making a good vs. bad aspects list, it turned out to be OK. I'm sorry Julie, but I'm still not buying the full pack. At least you managed to correct the pretentious mess of Titus (1999).
66/100.
