Review of Frequency (2000) by Izzy J — 05 Jan 2011
This is one of my favourite movies of all time, though I'm not quite sure what does it. It seems like a strange film; father and son communicate through time using an old radio to change history, but it's unexpectedly thrilling and satisfying all around. Quaid and Caviezel have a great rapport throughout the film and they really make the relationship something to root for. The two create an interesting father-son dynamic as Caviezel is eager to get to know the father who died when he was young and Quaid is interested in meeting the man his son would become. It's fascinating to me that the two leads never really share a moment of screen time, yet they tie this film together very well.
An oldie but a goodie--watch this.
