I liked this film which is based on a true story. Julianna Moore plays a police officer dying of cancer fighting for the right for her partner, played by Ellen Page, to get her pension after she passes.

As they are not married, it looks like that won't happen and they decide to fight the system and try for some real change. Moore is excellent as always, I think she might be one of the finest actresses working today.

I am a big fan of Michael Shannon and Steve Carrell, and enjoyed their supporting work here. The film got only 48%, and I can't see why. The film may not be perfect, but it's an interesting story with superb acting.
