It's such a powerful story but the film cares more about the actual logistics and facts than paying attention to the relationship between Julianne and Ellen. You might as well watch a documentary, which there actually is on this, because it's really painful watching Julianne Moore put on an incredible performance in a film that doesn't really show who these characters are.
