Well acted movie and really gets a lot of aspects of the Civil War era spot on. That being said, It's a painfully slow movie and really, really tough to sit through. It lost my interest so many times through out that I could barely manage to finish it and by the time I was done, I felt that I wasted 2 hours of my life.
