Review of Freddy's Dead: The Final Nightmare (1991) by Teen Opinion O — 29 Oct 2011
By this point, the Freddy franchise has turned in to a near parody. While not totally devoid of ideas (the hearing aid scene is great), there is a definate sense that theres no where else to go now. Though in truth, that was the case at the beginning of The Dream Master.
Englund owns the character and is as watchable as always, but its a shame the comedic elements of Krueger over shadow what the character originally was.
