What is there to say about Frank? Well Frank is a very entertaining movie. The first third of the movie is quite strong. It seems to be promising a hilarious and quirky journey with all the lovably bizarre bandmates.
However, the film then takes a turn and tries way too hard to be dramatic. The plot also suddenly turns into something you might expect from Highschool musical. All this leading up to a sort of dramatic and mostly disappointing ending.
It left me wanting more and not in a good way. Despite their being some genuinely entertaining moments, the films is dragged down by its plot and its desire to be taken seriously.
