Some artists just make everything they touch better. Greta Gerwig is exactly that type of actor. She delivers a standard of excellence that elevates a little wisp of a film like FRANCES HA to deep levels of modern exploration.
FRANCES HA is very modern indeed. A film that examines a kind of woman and a culture that simply could not have existed at any other time. Full of great joy, splendor, sadness, grace, and anxiety, FRANCES HA captures that moment in a young person's life when they become they person they will be foibles and all.
And Greta Gerwig makes it all happen!
