Review of Four Rooms (1995) by Erika N — 29 Jan 2010
The second room was a bloody MESS. I didn't understand the joke, plot or the sex "game" that the characters were playing. I didn't understand why the bell boy (Tim Roth) had such a strange role.
.I did however, really enjoyed the other 3 rooms..I was pleasantly surprised that Madonna didn't take off her top..Kudos for you. The last room was awesome, Quentin is fucking gorgeous and played his character very well.
.the whole "This is fuckin cristal" rant was beautifully executed, and this was before the 2000s when rappers was bathing in it. I honestly think that neither one of the two actors even came up to his ball sack on an acting level.
He knew exactly what he wanted to be done in that scene. Bruce Willies had the worst "hood" accent I ever heard. It sounded awkward..but props for him for trying. He did a better job in Pulp.
The end of the movie was sick. I wasn't expecting that. And I wouldn't say that Tim Roth was "overacting" I think that writers wanted everything to be the way it was for a reason, and to give the movie a certain feel.
The greatest part of the movie was the whole conversion with Kathy Griffin. fuckin loved that part..WHOS BETTY.hahah.
