Review of Forrest Gump (1994) by Daryl K — 18 Sep 2013
Cloying, preposterous story of an optimistic dullard's journey through late 20th century American history. Some good performances by the likes of Gary Sinise and Mykelti Williamson, but Hanks' Oscar-winning turn as the titular Gump really grates on me here.
