Review of Forrest Gump (1994) by Matthew T — 22 Dec 2014
From the very begining this was the first and only request I ever gotten, and do I regret it no way man I love this film. first off tom hanks is in it (score) second off this is the movie is very VERY! character driven where literally this film story is just focused on one mans life who is not very bright but very fun to watch and just interesting. yes there are other characters in this film, but Forrest is the main focus in fact this could the development is so strong that its as realistic as history its self.
not just because he was through the real events such as Vietnam or through the water gate scandal but how he experienced them through his own eyes causing personal things to emerge such as tragedy, happiness, sadness, problems and even life its self. Due to this Forrest Gump could one of the best movie characters ever on film because of his humanized charmed reflection of life though he may act and sound stupid but his life says other wise.
