The basis for the drama wasn't a bad idea and the acting was excellent, but some individual scenes were so baffling they pulled my friends and I right out of the story. If you take a ski lift up a mountain to ski with your two children and find blinding fog, wouldn't sane people go back down on the lift? That scene leads to a "pivotal plot event" that leaves you thinking "Why did that happen?".
