Certainly an interesting movie... Certainly not a date movie! This movie about a family's ski trip that goes the other way when an avalanche forces them to think of what kind of life priorities each one of them has.
Not exactly popcorn movie stuff, this is filled with long stretches of philosophizing, emotional outbursts and conversations. It's sometimes a bit boring. But kudos to Robin Ostlund for making the Ski Lodge here the most menacing hotel since the Overlook.
If you don't come for the conversations, come for the sounds, it's a sound mixer's dream.
