Groundbreaking? Ahead of it's time? Very boring for a science-fiction movie if you ask me. Not much happens at all. We even get robbed of an action scene involving a Tiger jumping on Leslie Nielsen.
If that was in the movie it would have at least given it one memorable and exciting scene.
