This is why I love baseball. I love baseball because of the history of the game, the romance involved in the game and because of those few players like Billy Chapel who live, breathe, sleep and eventually die with the game.
Kevin Costner does a fantastic job as an aging pitcher watching life fall apart off the field while all is coming together on it. Wonderful supporting cast and a well-done film that even those who have no interest in baseball will love.
