Negatively criticizing a movie for manipulating your emotions is preposterous. It made you care enough to get your emotions involved. Unfortunately for this movie it had too much baseball for the romance crowd and too much romance for the baseball crowd.
I enjoy the methodical pace of both baseball and the unraveling of the romance story though couldnâ(TM)t go five stars out of the predictable outcome of both.
