A good western, but a bit slow paced and boring in the middle. There is a cheesy hat shooting scene and the ending was annoying in that they were switching between scenes of Eastwood in an early afternoon or morning blue sky and the other main character in a golden sunset sky.
.. what the hell? There are more gratuitous face closeups, but I'm not sure if it is the movie's fault or the fact I was watching a 'Made to Fit Your TV' version.
