Review of For a Few Dollars More (1965) by Lorenzo V — 18 Sep 2009
As Westerns go, there is not much better than the unstoppable tag team of Clint Eastwood and Sergio Leone. This is the second in the famous Man With No Name trilogy of movies that really set the bar for what westerns should be.
Eastwood is his amazing self here but his performance is masterfully contrasted with that of Lee Van Cleef. The two are just fantastic together as they search for El Indio for different reasons. The ending was just perfect.
I'm not sure if I'm able to put these three movies in any sort of order so I will just say that this trilogy is a must see.
