Review of For a Few Dollars More (1965) by Fredrik S — 29 Jul 2015
A great follow up to the initial part in the trilogy. The addition of the charismatic Lee Van Cleef and making him the equal of Clinton's Man Without a Name was a stroke of genius. The plot is unlikely to say the least, but that is irrelevant, as this is all about mood, fantastic action scenes, an over the top music score and intriguing, unexpected editing of the visual storytelling.
I'm not a big fan of violence in films, but here it's almost poetic.
