Let's hear it for Lee Van Cliff! He's such a good, memorable, badass character. The tenuous partnership of he and Eastwood is the best aspect of the movie. The scene where they are discussing how to divvy up the bounties is all sorts of awesome.
The usual trademarks are here and well employed.
