Review of Footloose (2011) by Tvjerry — 18 Oct 2011
Apparently, the producers wanted to appeal to the widest audience possible, while not alienating anyone, so they created a bland remake. It centers around a cool guy who moves from Boston to a small Georgia town, where dancing and other fun things have been outlawed.
In usual Hollywood style, not one of the high schoolers looks under 18, but their dramas are typical teen trash. Worst of all, the music spans from country to hip-hop, all of it unmemorable and uninspiring.
