Review of Food Matters (2010) by Jessica C — 23 Oct 2010
Good documentary. There are some critical points I hold in contention regarding statements made against the medical field and some assertions about vitamin regimins that come off as extremist, but the overall point is well stated: You are what you eat.
I think a movie like this will at least remind us that our bodies do have abilities to fight off disease and unwanted bacteria and viruses when they are properly fed. We spend way too much money on the search for cures as opposed to the search for prevention.
This is highlighted in this movie. I am on the search for eating and living better, and this movie helped. But beware of anything that sounds "fool-proof". I am looking forward to hearing more about the research strides that might be made on vitamins and their role in fighting cancers after viewing this flick.
Sounds interesting, anyway.
