Review of Heal (2017) by Lavendersirius — 02 Dec 2021
As someone who does believe in spiritual healing, it only works *to an extent.* spirituality and science CAN AND DO COEXIST. this documentary glorifies not getting authentic medical help because "energy healing is the key," when sure, it can help, but if you're genuinely ill, it wont heal your physical state and it will only provide a boost at most for your mental health.
I am a sufferer of multiple traumagenic disorders and practice some of my spirituality to help it, and thats valid. but at the same time, I know that therapy of all sorts, potentially medications, + nonspiritual professional help will be the FULL solution.
don't watch this crap if it's not just to criticize and nitpick as well. go to the hospital if you have genuine physical concerns, contact a therapist if youre mentally unwell, please dont depend on spirituality on its own, though you can still be spiritual it cannot and will not replace actual care.
