Review of Flushed Away (2006) by Little L — 29 Dec 2010
It's a very unique idea, executed well with lots of well-crafted humour. The good things about this film are the animation (for 2006), the humour, the plot / idea, the characters and the way they talk ('common' and 'posh' accents etc), and the ridiculous approach to the whole film. And, of course, unlike a lot of films nowadays, it's set in England!
Sadly, however, it is just not good enough to be a memorable affair. it's alright, but I don't think it will leave you with any lasting impression.
I wouldn't run out and buy the DVD, but if it's on a TV channel, I would give it a watch. It won't add much to your life, but it certainly won't take away from it.
