Review of Florence Foster Jenkins (2016) by Erin D — 05 Sep 2016
A cautionary tale about what happens when someone is so insecure they cannot receive any constructive feedback. This is the true story of a wealthy senior woman who aspires to be an opera singer despite being tone deaf. Favorite line: "St. Clair: [Once I realized I could be good, not great,] I was free from the tyranny of ambition.".
How blessed are you if you can live free from the tyranny of ambition of people's approval!
