"Florence Foster Jenkins" hits a story so sweet, so funny and so emotional, although it is true that the direction of Stephen Frears does not end in the bullseye to his unique proposal, are his cast who raise the film, Meryl Streep embroiders with a performance (gestural and vocal) as credible and emotional as Jenkins, and is greatly benefited with a charismatic Hugh Grant and a very funny Simon Helberg.
