Review of Flightplan (2005) by Luketheduke — 23 Sep 2005
Jodi Foster's character is at once sharp, cunning and calculating whilst also depressed, paralyzed and lethargic. The plot and pacing work okay, but just okay. No great performances from anyone. After a while, one thinks the dead husband may be lucky to be away from the rest of these losers and downers.
The sky marshall character and his motives are sophomoric and foolish. The twists and turns are all formula, We are right to expect much better work and choices from Ms. Foster.
