Flashdance is a corny 80's romance film, but it is still an absolute blast to watch. I found it to be a very entertaining film filled with enjoyably corny romance, awesome dance scenes, a kick-ass 80's soundtrack, and some moments of fun humor.
I can see why people hate it because it is a very cheesy film, but it should appeal to people who enjoy 80's films.
