Review of Flashdance (1983) by Farron K — 01 Dec 2013
Decent enough. Kind of the R-rated version of Footloose with lots of relationship drama. The soundtrack was much worse though, aside from the title track. I did like how they drew a line between being a dancer in a club and being a strip club dancer (it was also nice that the strip club music was completely terrible).
The ending was nice, but came pretty abruptly and without closing a few loose ends. Overall, worth a watch for the ladies who like dancing, but not that great otherwise.
