Review of Flags of Our Fathers (2006) by Ifiok O — 29 Aug 2009
This was a good film, but not a great film. The narrative seemed to lose focus when it drifted from one point to another. But the film does a great job illustrating the ordeal of the veterans who fought in Iwo Jima, as well as the damage that was inflicted during and after those events.
Overall, while it's not flawless, it pays tribute to the men who fought in WWII.
