Review of Flags of Our Fathers (2006) by Martyn I — 23 Nov 2009
I don't do war films, as a rule, but for Clint I made an exception, and I'm glad I did. Flashback narratives can quite often become confusing, if not confused within themselves, but I didn't find this difficult to follow at all.
You could tell who was having the flashback, where, when and why. A very good film, if lacking in storyline.
