Review of Five Easy Pieces (1970) by Ted D — 27 Jul 2009
I found the first 30 minutes quite depressing, but it really picked up when he hit the road and stayed with his family. Existential and distant, sure. But there's something here, something deep that I can't quite peg, but I can tell it's there.
Probably my favorite Nicholson performance.
