Review of Fitzcarraldo (1982) by Matthew B — 28 Oct 2008
I really liked this film. And yet its one I would not recommend for everyone. Its very long and not full of nonstop action. But it is one I was left thinking about for some time. Most of what you are seeing with the boat you are actually seeing for real.
Nice suspense when Fitzgerald hears the natives but can not see them. If you like pacing and beautiful scenary (i.e. terrance malick) you will like this film.
