"First reformed" is a movie about finding hope when facing certain annihilation, and finding peace when surrounded by despair. it has a clever setting, a shocking plot, and interesting characters.
It is unusual, it is real, it is important. This movies message compares only to 2001: a space odyssey. everybody should see it and meditate with it. It is truly an important piece of artistic expression.
